SportsM8 Overview

Welcome to Sports M8, our mantra is to ’empower, simplify, and connect“ with a focus on sports management. Our competition management software greatly simplifies the Match Official management of running a competition with more capabilities coming online quickly.

Getting started

Your journey starts by setting up a SportsM8 Account and then a Profile. Once you have these setup you can then register into a competition and start your journey either as a Match Official, Match Official Coach, Playing Team Manager, or one of the various administrative roles we support.

Create an Account

First step is to create a SportsM8 Account or log into your existing account

Create a Profile

Create a SportsM8 profile with all your contact information to be shared with competitions

Register into a competition

Register into a competition as a Match Official or required persona/role.

Provide your availability

Provide your availability for a competition day that you will officiate on

View appointments

Review your assigned appointments, acknowledge or report a conflict as needed.

Receive payment for your service

Receive payment for your matches officiated or other services at the competition.

Terms and language

SportsM8 was designed to be sports agnostic, although we founded our roots in Touch Football. There are many terms we use in the platform that are interchangeable across sports. Here are some examples of what you may know the terms to be in your sport.

SportsM8 Term	What you may know it as
Match Official	Referee, Umpire, Official are common alternatives across sports
Match Official Coach	Referee Coach, Match Coach are common alternatives across sports
Playing Team Manager	Team Manager, Team Delegate, Team Contact, are all possibile alternatives
