July 2023

The July 2023 update introduced new appointment reliability tracking for match officials. These changes help competition administrators record missed appointments, review reliability information in appointment-related reports, and inspect weekday appointment statistics.

  • Appointment changes can now be recorded as missed appointments against individual match officials.
  • Match officials receive a Reliability Index based on completed and recorded missed appointments.
  • Reliability information is available in reports, including the Availability vs Appointments report.
  • Weekday appointment statistics were added to support scheduling review.
  • Missing entity types were added to improve administration setup.

Competition administrators can record appointment changes as missed appointments against an individual match official. This gives administrators a clearer way to track when an appointment change should affect a member’s appointment history.

Each match official is assigned a Reliability Index score based on completed appointments and recorded missed appointments. This score is available across several reports to support appointment planning and review.

Appointment statistics now include weekday information, helping administrators understand appointment patterns across competition days.

SportsM8 introduced the underlying appointment reliability calculations used to generate the Reliability Index and make it available to reporting.

Backend routes and services now support manually creating missed appointments and recording who was involved in the missed appointment.
