June 2026

The June 2026 update focuses on making SportsM8 easier to navigate, easier to use on smaller screens, and safer to manage during busy competition workflows. This release includes refreshed Competition Admin navigation, modernised Match Schedule Admin screens, improved payment run visibility, kiosk display updates, and the first step toward a more controlled draw import process.

  • Competition Admin now has card-based quick links to key admin areas, including Match Schedule Admin and the Appointments vs Availability Grid.
  • Match Schedule Admin interfaces and modals have been modernised for improved responsive rendering and easier navigation.
  • Payment administrators can search payment runs and review detailed payment run criteria and outcomes.
  • Draw import now previews changes before importing, giving administrators more control before updates are applied.
  • The documentation site has a refreshed UI and improved navigation structure.

The Competition Admin home page now includes card-based quick links for common workflows, including Manage Members, Match Schedule Admin, Match Schedule Admin Preview, and the Appointments vs Availability Grid. This gives administrators a clearer launch point when moving between competition setup, scheduling, member management, and reporting tasks.

The Match Schedule Admin interfaces have been modernised to improve responsive rendering and make navigation easier across different screen sizes. This includes updates across appointment details, edit match, edit time, find official, suggest official, intelligent appointments, manage availability, filtering, move match, error check, clear draw, clear appointments, delete appointments, generate, reschedule, import, and export workflows.

These updates help administrators and coordinators work through scheduling tasks with less friction, especially when moving between several admin actions during a competition day.

The Fixture Grid has returned to a table layout following customer feedback. The updated table is more responsive for mobile rendering while keeping the familiar grid-based view for reviewing fixtures.

Draw import now previews changes before importing. This is the first iteration toward giving administrators more control over the draw import process before changes are applied to the match schedule.

The Edit Time workflow now uses a dedicated SportsM8 time picker, making time changes more consistent with the refreshed admin modal design.

The Kiosk match schedule display has been refreshed with an updated layout for large displays, clearer match cards, improved toolbar controls, a visible clock, optional published-status messaging, and a next-round countdown where configured. The kiosk can still show schedule information in fixture grid or table views depending on the display setup.

The Competition Payment portal now includes improved payment run search and a detailed payment run view. Administrators can review a run summary, payment criteria, registration field filters, match appointment filters, status, outcome, and the number of payment records generated.

Match official team management now supports bulk editing selected members. Administrators can update team and role assignments for multiple members in one action, reducing repeated manual edits when preparing or reorganising official teams.

Mobile-first search and reporting refinements

Section titled “Mobile-first search and reporting refinements”

Several search and reporting screens have been improved for smaller screens, including competition and profile search, match official appointments, feedback, coach appointment reports, appointment grids, match schedule reports, and the Appointments vs Availability Grid. Shared table, fixture grid, search form, and competition day picker styling has also been updated to support more consistent responsive layouts.

Backend support has been added for payment run search, allowing the Competition Payment portal to retrieve and display payment run records more reliably.

A backend fix improves how appointment availability data is handled when availability mapping is missing or undefined. This helps avoid errors in match schedule and appointment views that depend on availability information.

The SportsM8 documentation site has received a new UI. The first wave of content restructuring has also been completed to improve navigation and make help content easier to find.
