January 2025
The January 2025 update begins the SportsM8 Profile foundation. This work adds the early account and profile structures needed to let members manage reusable personal details separately from competition-specific registrations.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Early SportsM8 Profile screens and services were added.
- Members can begin managing profile records under their SportsM8 account.
- Profile selection support was added for accounts linked to multiple profiles.
- Competition registration workflows were updated to recognise profile-linked member records.
Web App

Section titled “SportsM8 Profile foundation”SportsM8 Profile introduces a reusable member record that sits alongside the existing SportsM8 Account and Competition Registration concepts. The first profile screens include profile creation, profile editing, profile viewing, profile management, and profile selection.
This work is the foundation for reducing repeated data entry across competitions and making it easier for members to keep shared details up to date.
Account and registration updates
Section titled “Account and registration updates”Account screens were reorganised to support the new profile structure. Competition member, registration, check-in, payment, availability, match official, and coach views were also updated so they can work with profile-linked member data.
Backend & Integrations
Section titled “Backend & Integrations”Profile API support
Section titled “Profile API support”Backend profile models, profile routes, and security helper updates were added to support the new profile concept. Competition and security logic was also updated so SportsM8 can safely manage profile-aware member workflows.
