April 2026

The April 2026 update improves Match Schedule Admin workflows, appointment import and export, app feature controls, and third-party draw integrations. It also adds support for follow-team intelligent appointments and improves reporting around published and unpublished appointments.

  • Intelligent Appointments now support follow-team appointment behaviour.
  • Match schedule appointment import and export has been improved, including support for external system reference numbers.
  • Competition app feature controls now support limits such as maximum seasons and maximum days per season.
  • Additional third-party draw support has been added, including FIT draw support.
  • Match appointment statistics now show published and unpublished appointed game counts.

Intelligent Appointment configuration now supports follow-team appointment behaviour. This gives competitions more control over appointment rules where an official or appointment should follow a team across matches.

The Match Schedule Admin Intelligent Appointments and Suggest Official workflows have also been updated to use the new configuration.

Appointment import and export improvements

Section titled “Appointment import and export improvements”

Match schedule appointment import and export workflows have been improved. Appointment imports now support matching by external system reference number, helping administrators align imported appointment data with records from connected systems.

Export and import screens in Match Schedule Admin have also been refined to support the updated appointment data flow.

SportsM8 administration now includes competition app feature management. These controls support competition-level limits and settings, including maximum seasons and maximum days per season.

Season and competition day screens now handle those limits more clearly when administrators are creating or editing competition setup data.

Integration configuration now supports pool mapping for imported draw data, and SportsM8 has added support for additional third-party draw formats including FIT draw support.

These changes improve the reliability of draw imports where external systems use different identifiers, pools, or division mapping structures.

Quick edit and Match Schedule Admin screens received UI refinements to make the scheduling workflow easier to scan. Profile search text wrapping was also improved so longer values display more cleanly.

Published and unpublished appointment counts

Section titled “Published and unpublished appointment counts”

Match appointment statistics now include counts for published and unpublished appointed games, giving administrators better visibility over appointment release progress.

Backend Intelligent Appointment configuration and routes now support follow-team appointment rules.

The API now supports competition app feature settings and carries those settings through competition and clone workflows.

Backend integration work added pool mapping support, improved MySideline error handling, and introduced FIT draw support for third-party draw imports.

Backend report routes now support published and unpublished appointed game statistics.
