December 2025
The December 2025 update continues the appointment publish status work from November and improves the in-app messaging experience. It also improves date selection defaults for late-year workflows.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Appointment publish status messages are now shown in more appointment and kiosk workflows.
- A shared published-status message component was added.
- Kiosk configuration can control whether published appointment status is shown.
- In-app message notices were refined.
- Late-year date selectors now show the next year where appropriate.
Web App
Section titled “Web App”Appointment publish status messages
Section titled “Appointment publish status messages”Appointment publish status messaging has been added across competition member appointment administration, match official appointment views, kiosk appointment search, and kiosk match schedule displays.
These messages help administrators, officials, and kiosk viewers understand whether appointment information is published, unpublished, or partially released.
Kiosk publish status configuration
Section titled “Kiosk publish status configuration”Kiosk setup now includes options for showing appointment release and published status information. This allows competitions to control whether publish status appears on shared kiosk displays.
Shared publish status component
Section titled “Shared publish status component”A reusable appointment published-status message component was added so publish status messaging can be displayed consistently across SportsM8.
In-app message notice improvements
Section titled “In-app message notice improvements”In-app message notices were refined so users can more clearly see and act on message notifications.
Late-year date selector improvement
Section titled “Late-year date selector improvement”Date-selection behaviour was improved so late-year workflows can show the next year when appropriate.
Backend & Integrations

Section titled “Appointment published status support”Backend appointment, kiosk, competition, clone, and match schedule services were updated to support appointment published status messaging and configuration.
Fixes and Improvements

- Improved appointment search behaviour used by publish status workflows.
