August 2023
The August 2023 update improved how competitions collect registration information, view appointments, and manage playing team responsibilities. This release also added the Playing Team Delegate role, playing team management foundations, and match score capabilities.
Highlights
Section titled “Highlights”- Registration fields now support custom lists of text options.
- My Appointments can show both Match Official and Match Official Coaching appointments.
- The Playing Team Delegate role is available for members responsible for managing playing teams.
- Playing team administration and team management portal foundations were added.
- Match score capabilities were added for delegates and team workflows.
Web App
Section titled “Web App”Custom registration field lists
Section titled “Custom registration field lists”Competition administrators can configure registration fields with custom lists of text options. This gives competitions more control over the values members can select when providing registration information.
This update also resolved an issue where the previous Playing Team list capability was only accessible after a member had registered into the competition.
Combined appointment visibility
Section titled “Combined appointment visibility”My Appointments now includes both Match Official appointments and Match Official Coaching appointments. This gives members and coaches a more complete view of their scheduled commitments in one place.
Coaches still need to use the coaching portal to enter feedback.
Playing Team Delegate role
Section titled “Playing Team Delegate role”The Playing Team Delegate role has been added for members who are responsible for managing a playing team. Members with this role can be linked to the teams they manage and use the available Playing Team portal features.
Playing team administration
Section titled “Playing team administration”Playing team administration foundations were added, including team management portal work, playing team admin screens, and early team manager/delegate workflows.
Match score capabilities
Section titled “Match score capabilities”Delegates can now participate in match score workflows. This includes early score administration, match score search, and result management foundations.
Backend & Integrations
Section titled “Backend & Integrations”Playing team and score API support
Section titled “Playing team and score API support”Backend routes and schema updates now support playing team delegates, team management, match score search, and match score submission workflows.
Appointment and changelog reliability
Section titled “Appointment and changelog reliability”Backend fixes improved My Appointments sorting, no-match-schedule handling, and Match Schedule Changelog behaviour.
