Touch Football Match Official Competency Rating definitions

This article outlines the definitions of the Match Official (Referee) Competency Rating as they relate to the options that can be added to a Match Coaching Form. Each field type is represented by a different section header, allowing for additional field types to be added in the future.

TFA-Competency-Rating field

The following options relate to the options presented when selecting the TFA Competency Rating option (internal code = tfa-competency-rating1).

Score	Label	Description
5	Exceptional	Clear strength of the referee; consistently proactive and highly effective with no negative impact on the game.
4	Strong	Solid execution with minor inconsistencies, but no negative affect on the game; generally effective and contributes positively to game outcomes.
3	Adequate	Met minimum expectations; inconsistencies evident but did not significantly affect the game.
2	Inconsistent	Below standard for this level; reactive, hesitant, or lacking control, leading to repeated or visible impacts.
1	Needs Improvement	Performance fell well below expected standard; referee was often overwhelmed or unable to manage the requirement.
