General Troubleshooting – Site Access Issues
If you are experiencing issues with the SportsM8 site or app not loading correctly, this guide will help you identify and resolve the most common causes.
SportsM8 is a Progressive Web App (PWA) built with the latest technologies to work across a wide range of devices and browsers. In rare cases, a problem may occur due to local device/browser settings, outdated software, or cached data.

Section titled “🛠 Try This First”Before going through the full troubleshooting steps, try these quick fixes:
- Open the base URL directly: https://sportsm8.azurewebsites.net/
- Switch browsers: Use the latest version of Google Chrome or Safari.
- Hard refresh the page:

- Try another device to see if the problem is device-specific.
Common Symptoms

- Blank screen after initial load

Full Troubleshooting Steps
Section titled “Full Troubleshooting Steps”1. Access the Base URL
Section titled “1. Access the Base URL”If you are opening SportsM8 from a link in an email or message, try instead going directly to our base URL:

From there, log in or create an account, and locate your competition in the list.
2. Use a Supported Browser
Section titled “2. Use a Supported Browser”We recommend:
- Google Chrome (latest version)
- Safari (latest version) for Apple devices
Other browsers may work but are not officially supported.
3. Clear Browser Cache
Section titled “3. Clear Browser Cache”A corrupted or outdated cache may cause loading issues.

- In your browser settings, clear the cached files for SportsM8 and reload the page.

4. Try Another Device

Why These Issues Happen
Section titled “Why These Issues Happen”SportsM8 runs in your browser, and like all PWAs, it relies on your device storing some data locally for faster access. Occasionally, this stored data can become outdated or corrupted, preventing the site from loading correctly. Clearing the cache or switching browsers forces your device to reload the most recent version of the app.
Tip: For the best experience, always keep your browser up to date and allow SportsM8 to be added to your device’s home screen for quick access.
